ITG wins the 2015 Missions Cup in a close match.
The 3rd Missions Cup tournament returned to the River Crossing Club in Spring Branch, TX. It was another close match. The home team has won each of three Missions Cup events. The Round 1 Scramble seemed to be the difference in scoring. ITG won 6.5 points to H5's 3.5 points. The Round 2 Foursome matches were split 5 - 5. First day scoring ended with ITG 11.5 points and H5 with 8.5 points. In Round 3, H5 needed to score 11.5 points to keep the cup, and ITG needed 9 to win it. Many matches went down to the wire. Like in Round 2, both teams split the matches 10 - 10. Iron Thong wins the cup! 21.5 - 18.5 The 2015 Showdown was rained out in Laredo. The make up event was help in July at River Crossing Club.
